    Question

    Hello,
I am getting ready to shoot my first color super 8 movie - I understand the lighting is much different from black and white.
Has anyone shot with the ektachrome?
Any tips or tricks to make sure the lighting (indoor) will turn out ok?
    Thanks for any info!
    -SK

    Question

Oops - my fault I forgot to mention I have shot several films in black and white and I am specifically interested in the color temprature of color film. I know that some indoor lights cast odd tints on people and things.
I was just looking to see if anyone had tips - I had read somewhere that using some photo processing lights (like those in a darkroom) cast a warmer hue.
    Anyone experienced in this matter?

Another seemingly simple question that's actually complex to answer. Do you not own any books on filmmaking? I'd suggest you not begin to shoot any film until you do some basic research.

You may want to look at www.super8mmDirectory.com.

Click on Super 8 Directory, then scroll down to Lighting. There are several very helpful texts there.
